2018 is right around the corner! Emily has been pretty busy this year, promoting the first (amazing, might I say) season of “American Gods” and “Golden Exits” during Sundance. As the year is ending, I thought it would be great to go over everything our girl has been up to these 12 last months. Click on ‘Continue Reading’ below to read the whole review post.

Emily started off the year of 2017 by promoting “Golden Exits” at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival in January. During her first day there, she swung by the Deadline Hollywood Studio, the Acura Studio, and the Hollywood Reporter 2017 Sundance Studio. The day ended with her attending the “Golden Exits” Premiere with her fellow co-stars Analeigh Tipton, Chloe Sevigny, Jason Schwartzman and Director Alex Ross.
On January 23, Emily visited the Creators League Studio with Analeigh Tipton and the next day, on January 24, she visited Indiewire in Conversation. Sundance also means tons of portraits — fifteen outtakes from eight different portraits were added to our gallery during Sundance.

February was a bit more calm, as Emily only went out once. On February 20, she attended the Burberry February 2017 Fashion Show and later that same night, she also attended the LOVE & Burberry London Fashion Week Party Celebrating Katie Grand & Kendall Jenner’s #LOVEME17 (x). Still in February, Deadline revealed that “American Gods” would premiere on Sunday, April 30 at 9pm ET/PT, and the first promotional images were unveiled (x).

In March, it was revealed that Emily was teaming up with Crescioni for their Fall 2017 collection (x). It was also in March that Emily attended the SXSW Festival to promote “American Gods”. On the 11th, she attended the show’s premiere alongside creators Bryan Fuller and Michael Green an fellow cast members Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane (x). On the 12th, they all attended the ‘American Gods’ Panel hosted at the Lionsgate Lounge (x). During that panel, it was revealed that Emily was to play not one but two characters on the show: Laura Moon and Essie Tregowan (x).

On April 1, Starz unveiled the opening titles of the show (x). On the 9th, Emily attended the “American Gods” Premiere in London, alongside the rest of the cast members. She was wearing a gorgeous Miu Miu lace dress (x). On April 20, she attended the “American Gods” Premiere in Hollywood (x). 10 days later, the show premiered on Starz. Emily was photographed by Rebekah Campbell for The Last Magazine. The full editorial was unveiled in May (x).

On May 11, Deadline revealed that Starz had blessed “American Gods” with Season 2 renewal (x). Emily was also photographed by George Chinsee for WWD. In June, Emily attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Conversations with ‘American Gods’ at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Screening Room in Los Angeles (x). It was also revealed she was going to be on the cover of Rogue Magazine. The last episode of the first season of “American Gods” aired on June 18 (x).

On July 6, she attended the ‘God’s Own Country’ Premiere during the Opening Gala Night of the 2017 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival. In August, Rogue Magazine revealed its full editorial. Emily was photographed by Jonny Marlow. On August 13, she attended the “Golden Exits” Screening during the 2017 Sundance NEXT FEST alongside Analeigh Tipton (x). It was revealed in November that Michael Green and Bryan Fuller exited “American Gods” as showrunners. Last but not least, Emily turned 29 on December 7.

That’s a wrap on 2017, but what’s next for Emily in 2018? She’ll reprise her role as Laura Moon on the second season of “American Gods“. We’re hopeful regarding “Golden Exits“, may it finally be released next year!

I would like to wish a very happy new year to all our visitors and followers on Twitter – and I obviously wish a fantastic upcoming year to Emily and her close ones.
